How to Choose your Safe

There are several ways to browse our product list:

  1. Click on any of the categories on the left (e.g. Cash Safes, Fire Safes). Each area shows a comprehensive group of products related to that category. Please note that some safes will be in more than one area, e.g. Cash safes with fire protection, Fire cabinets (paper) with cash rating.
  2. Click on any of the brand names on the left or on our Top Brands page to view all safes by that company.
  3. Product search. Simply type the make of safe, or known model into the Product box & hit enter. eg. Chubb, eg, Torino, eg TG3 GB
  4. Cash rating or Non cash rating. Simply select one of the cash ratings on the chart on the left to view all safes within that band.

When looking at any safe on this site you will also be shown similar sized or equivalent products. This gives a non biased view to aid in your decision. To view alternate safes, scroll down the page.

Domestic/Householder

Ensure that you know the value of your Jewellery (non cash). It is advised you look at safes with a higher non cash rating to ensure you are covering inflation values in years to follow. If you don't know the value, please seek the advice of a Jeweller. Jewellery should be appraised approximately every 3 years.

If wanting a wall safe, we advise your walls be brick built to aid strength of fitting. Most modern homes are not capable of taking a wall safe.

Businesses

Please confirm with your Insurer, if wanting a safe for non cash items. They may reduce this rating value depending on your post code or physical security risks.

Never put Data (Computer tapes etc) into a fire safe for paper only. If you do have a fire, your back up tapes have a high chance of destruction of information. Always specify the safe for the correct need!
